Lead vocalist/pianist, Cathy Holland is a native Australian who came to the
U.S.A to study jazz.After obtaining her B.M from the Berklee College Of Music
in Boston and her M.M from the University Of North Texas,she moved to
Los Angeles to form the prototype bands who would eventually morph into
Barefoot Souls, one of which was the hard rock band Corroboree.
The first incarnation of Barefoot Souls produced an album in 1996 which
received airplay in Northern California and Colorado.
Cathy has recorded with Alan Mansfield (Robert Palmer Band),
Steve Andreoni (Mike Post and Dizzy Gillespie), John D.(John Paul Young).
Peter Kleinecke, lead guitar/ vocals has performed in the Los Angeles /Inland
empire area for years and is also an accomplished sound engineer, mixing
national acts i.e The Ramones, Boogie Knights, Jennifer York, Gilbey Clarke
(Gun's n Roses), Sheree Patterson (Vixen), and the Dickies.Denny Debow,
bass guitar, is a phenomenal talent and is equally at home playing any style
of music from jazz to rock. He is also a multi instrumentalist(drums,
keyboards and guitar). Danny "kid" Alfaro, drums has toured the world with
punk icons "Total Chaos". He is also the force behind popular disco show,
The Super Freaks. Danny is extremely versatile and is rock steady in live
and recording situations. The group performs as a 4 piece or 7 piece (with
3 horn players) depending on the venuefrom Martini Blues to BB King's.
They are also available for corporate functions and private parties.
